Old stuff..

Its been a fun week and we have been nesting and buying things for the house.. We have bought a Welsh Dresser from E-bay and are excited for that to arrive.. though having measured AFTER purchase its a very snug fit will post photo's on arrival.

Our 2nd hand shopping did not stop there... a couple of weeks ago we were due to go to an auction with Mr Waens' big son but had to turn back due to weather but thankfully Big son made it and bid on 2 beautiful butler sinks for us.. on Wednesday i went to pick them up and watched 3 burly men put them, in the boot with a struggle..Ii then drove over mountain passes with the things and the backside of Max the monster truck all but dragging along the floor..

Today Mr W's small son (understand these are not actual sizes and are age related) came and so with the extra man power we managed (bad backs, olive oil arms and all) to get them out of the car.. Now you may think that they look odd outside the window at the moment but once we are back from holidays and my plants are ready for the outside world they will look amazing.. THANK YOU big son and small son.

We had some lovely friends to stay who like to truffle in 2nd hand shops and so that was my excuse on Tuesday and I bought some lovely scales for the kitchen and soda bottles for the "Waen Bar"(anything to improve the sodding thing).

I also bought a selection of singles including the frog chorus (who could resist) because Mr W is reliving his youth with this Dancette. Its been a fun week of extreme bargains! Nice.
